Since Forget Me is not yet on the Chrome Web Store, follow these steps to install it manually:

1 Download the Extension
2 Extract the ZIP File
  • After downloading, right-click the .zip file and select "Extract All"
  • You'll get a folder named: forget-me-extension
3 Open Chrome Extensions Page
  • Open Google Chrome
  • In the address bar, type: chrome://extensions
  • Enable Developer mode (toggle switch at the top-right corner)
Developer Mode must be enabled for manual extension installation
4 Load the Unpacked Extension
  • Click the "Load unpacked" button
  • Navigate to and select the extracted folder: forget-me-extension
  • The Forget Me icon will now appear in your Chrome toolbar
5 Pin for Quick Access (Recommended)
  • Click the Extensions puzzle icon 🧩 in the toolbar
  • Find "Forget Me" and click the pin icon 📌 to keep it visible

🎯 Using the Extension

1. Visit Website

Navigate to any website you want to clean traces from

2. Click Icon

Select the Forget Me icon in your Chrome toolbar

3. Clean Now

Press the "Clean Now" button to instantly erase all data

4. Confirmation

See the success notification - your data is gone!
